Flow rushes through a 3D heat exchanger with soft, deformable internal heated elements. I developed a rapid-analysis framework, unlike any other computational tool available, that allows the designer design and optimize organically inspired (large coupled, deformation) novel thermal flow manufacturing solutions.

A beam deflects heavily from oncoming rushing flow. I successfully applied high level mathematical/computational optimization methods to tightly coupled, nonlinear fluid-structure interaction analysis models. This new tool improves greatly on conventional techniques for design optimization of many systems such as aircraft aero-elasticity, space craft avionics, automotive gas tank inertia shifts, civil design of architectural structures, and much more.
